Now, probably the best thing about this wiring is the fact that it's going to be completely hidden and out of the elements whenever you're not using it. However, it's going to be really easy to get to whenever you do need to plug in. Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com.Today on our 2013 Honda Civic, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness. Our wiring is going to provide us with the necessary lighting functions when we're towing a trailer, to not only remain safe but illegal. It's going to give us our brake lights, our running lights, and both left and right turn signals.It's going to have a built-in rubber dust cap, which is going to help protect our terminals from any type of corrosion. Now I do recommend using some dielectric grease every now and again, just to go that extra mile to keep them protected. Now our wiring is going to have six amps per circuit for our tail lights, and three amps per circuit for our stop and turn lights. What that means is that's going to provide us with plenty of power to run any type of light, whether it be an incandescent or an LED.Now one of the things I really like about this wiring, is that it's going to use a module box. more

On this 2008 Honda Civic we're going to review and install a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Part Number C56051. With this part number these are the parts you receive. Of course this is a our whole wire harness right here. This is our 4-Pole Flat Connector, with the cap. Our long length of 4-Pole wire goes to our converter box right here. It has a couple of T-Connectors. This green wire T-Connector goes to the passenger side. more

TowReady Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit Installation - 1996 Honda Civic- Video
Today on this 1996 Honda Civic were going to install part number 119178KIT from Tow Ready.First thing we need to do is get in the trunk of a car because our wire harness is going to go on the inside. What we need to do is get behind the interior panels. Well go ahead and remove the center threshold, which in this case, hardly had any fasteners left in it, so Izz 00:21 was able to pull it up and out of the way. Then well peel back the liners on both sides to get access to the wire harness behind taillights.We need our tester wires for function. What were going to do is, first off, is install a ground screw for our tester. With that ground screw well take our clip from a tester for a ground. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Honda Civic- Video
Today on our 2012 Honda Civic, we'll be installing the Tow Ready T1 Connector, part number 118420. First, we'll need to open up the rear cargo access then we'll remove the spare tire cover. There is one plastic fastener that will need to be removed before we can take it out of the vehicle. We'll simply set this aside for reinstallation later. Next, we'll remove the rear threshold. Again, we'll set this aside for the installation later. more

Today on this 2008 Honda Civic we are going to install part number 118420 from Tow Ready. This is our T-One wiring harness. First, we are going to get inside the trunk area. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Honda Civic- Video
Today on this 2009 Honda Civic we will be installing wiring harness part number 118420. Our harness here consists of three different ports. We have got two ports that are going to hook in over on the driver side, that will be the port with the brown and red wires and the port with the yellow and white wire. Also on our harness here, we are going to connect on the driver side, the white wire there with ring terminal on it. That is our ground wire. The third port with the longer green lead we are going to feed over to the passenger side tail light and we will connect them to give us our right turn. The connection points for our wiring harness are located directly behind the tail light assemblies here on the interior. To gain access to those connectors, we need to go ahead and remove some interior pieces. We need to remove the center threshold piece here and also pull back the interior fabric here on both sides and to pull back the interior fabric here we have got three flathead screws per side. more
